The Arbor View High School Band students and staff is greatfull to all businesses and individuals who have joined our team as sponsors. It is because of our sponsors that we have the recognition we bring to our community. Thanks to everyone who has supported us!!

The Arbor View Band Boosters Organization is a nonprofit group that supports the Arbor View High School Band program both financially and through volunteer efforts. Funds raised for the organization are used to supplement the program beyond the limited resources provided by the Clark County School District, including bus transportation to band events, additional support staff, marching and concert uniforms, instrument and music purchases, competition fees, and band member recognitions. The Arbor View Band Boosters Organization is a 501(c)3 charity. Our tax ID number is 88-6000030.

In the fall of 2008, the Arbor View High School Band enjoyed one of its most successful seasons in school history. With over 120 students in the band, highlights include:

• 2008 Representative of the State of Nevada in the National Memorial Day Parade in Washington D.C.
• Band members performed with the Arbor View High School Symphony Orchestra at Carnegie Hall in New York City in the spring of 2008
• Both Concert ensembles earned superior ratings at the Clark County School District Advanced Band Festival
• Marching program was a finalist at the Bands of America Los Angeles Regional Competition
• Marching program received a Division I Superior rating from the Bands of America Organization-Was the only Nevada Band to receive this award in competition this year. Only 10 percent of all bands NATIONALLY receive this rating.
• Band has grown from 60 members to 120 members in a year.

With the budget shortfalls anticipated by the Clark County School District we are in urgent need of your help. We anticipate the need for approximately $120,000 in order to maintain our program for the upcoming school year. In addition we need to purchase new uniforms at a cost of $45,000 for the band due to unprecedented growth in the program! We are asking for a donation to help keep our program growing and to keep us one of the top programs on the west coast.

There are several levels to this giving opportunity and we appreciate your support.

Friends — $25 - $99
Bronze Donor — $100-$499
Silver Donor — $500-$999
Gold Donor — $1,000-$4,999
Diamond Donor — $5,000 and up

We will recognize your gift on the Arbor View High School Band Sponsorship Board which is viewed by hundreds of friends and family of AVHS band students throughout the year. We will also recognize your contribution by placing you name on the Sponsor Board located in a highly public location at the Arbor View High School Athletic Stadium where it will be viewed by thousands of individuals a year.
